About Ashley Weathersby

Ashley Weathersby is a Texas attorney whose practice is focused on family law, family-law appeals, wills and estates, and probate. She brings a disciplined, analytical approach to matters that often involve significant personal, financial, and legal considerations, with a particular appreciation for the complexities that arise at the intersection of family relationships and the law.

Ashley earned her undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Houston and her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston. Her financial background provides a strong foundation for addressing the valuation, property, and financial issues that frequently arise in family law and estate matters.

An active member of the State Bar of Texas, Ashley is a member of the Family Law Section, Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, Civil Appellate Section, and Child Welfare Law Section. Her professional interests include complex family-law litigation, appellate advocacy in family-law matters, and the careful planning and administration of estates.

A native of Victoria, Texas, Ashley maintains a strong connection to the communities of the Texas Gulf Coast and is proud to call Port O’Connor home. She approaches her practice with the perspective of a lifelong Texan and a deep appreciation for the people and communities she serves.

Outside of her legal practice, Ashley enjoys reading, traveling, fishing, and gardening. She lives in Port O’Connor with her husband, their two children, their dog Daisy, and an ever-growing collection of chickens.
