About Larry Schaubhut, Jr.

With over 32 years of experience in family law, Larry Schaubhut is a trusted partner at Key Law Office, specializing in providing thoughtful and effective legal representation in family matters. Larry’s passion for family law is deeply rooted in a legacy of dedication, as his father, Larry Schaubhut, Jr., was a well-respected and experienced family lawyer in the Central Texas area for more than 50 years.

A native of Austin, Texas, Larry graduated with a degree in Finance from Texas State University after attending the University of Texas. Before pursuing law, he gained experience in real estate acquisition, mortgage lending, and worked as a testifying rate analyst for the Texas Water Commission (TNRCC). He later earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston, graduating in 1993.

Outside of his legal practice, Larry is committed to his community. He has served as the past president of the Manchaca Fire Department and the Hays High School Athletic Booster Club. Larry is married to Melanie Warner Schaubhut, and they have two children, Jaxson and Alex, both of whom attended Hays High School.
