About Mary Kathryn Brown
Mary Kate Brown is an associate attorney with the firm specializing in family law matters. She earned her undergraduate degree from Concordia University and Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where she served as a teaching assistant and executive editor of the St. Mary’s Law Journal, and interned with the Texas Third Court of Appeals. Before joining Key Law Office, Mary Kate worked as a law clerk in the Hays County Criminal District Attorney’s Office and an associate attorney at Walters Gilbreath in Austin.
Mary Kate Brown is a Hays County native and she, her husband, and her teenage children are deeply involved and rooted in the community. Mary Kate has a tremendous ability to empathize and connect with her clients and she ensures that they feel confident, heard, and protected. She particularly enjoys representing parents in high conflict child custody cases and has been instrumental in achieving great results through zealous and compassionate representation for our clients.
